These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website www.lagomspirits.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of any products from Lagom Spirits.

2. Legal Age Requirement & Age Verification

In compliance with UK law (Licensing Act 2003) and international regulations:

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your country of residence) to purchase alcoholic products from Lagom Spirits.
It is illegal to buy or attempt to buy alcohol if you are under the legal drinking age, or to purchase alcohol on behalf of anyone under the legal drinking age.
We use automated third-party age verification tools at checkout. By placing an order, you consent to our performing checks against public databases to verify your age.
We reserve the right to cancel any order immediately if age verification cannot be confirmed or if we suspect an underage transaction.

3. Products & Single Cask Availability

Unique & Limited Outturns: Lagom Spirits predominantly offers single cask bottlings. Due to the nature of single cask maturation, each bottling represents a limited run and is subject to stock availability.
Availability: Products are supplied on a first-come, first-served basis.
Descriptions & Photography: We take every care to ensure product descriptions, alcohol strength (ABV), cask details, and bottle photography are accurate. Minor variations in bottle numbering or label display may occur.

4. Pricing, Currency & Orders

Pricing Currency: All prices displayed on our Site are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include applicable UK Excise Duty and VAT (where relevant).
Price Changes & Errors: Prices are subject to change without prior notice. In the event of a typographical error or incorrect pricing calculation on the Site, we are under no obligation to fulfill an order at the incorrect price and reserve the right to cancel the order prior to dispatch.
Order Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when you receive an explicit Order Confirmation email from Lagom Spirits.

5. Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely via our e-commerce checkout. We accept major Credit/Debit Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Payment card details are encrypted and handled directly by our certified third-party payment gateways. Lagom Spirits does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.
Full payment is taken at the time your order is confirmed.

6. Delivery, Shipping, Taxes & Customs Duty

A. Delivery Execution

Orders are dispatched to the delivery address provided by the customer at checkout. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details.
Shipments are fulfilled via trusted courier partners. Deliveries must be signed for by an adult of legal drinking age.

B. International Orders, Taxes & Duties

For deliveries outside the UK (including future international shipments across Europe, Asia, and other regions), orders may be subject to local import duties, customs taxes, and excise fees levied by the destination country.
Customer Responsibility: All additional customs charges, import duties, and clearance handling fees are the sole responsibility of the customer/recipient.
Refused Deliveries: If an international shipment is returned to us or destroyed due to non-payment of local import taxes or refusal to clear customs, any refund offered will be net of return courier fees, freight charges, and non-recoverable duty costs incurred by Lagom Spirits.

7. Cancellations, Returns & Damaged Goods

Cancellations: You may request to cancel your order prior to dispatch by emailing hello@lagomspirits.com. Once an order has been handed to our courier, standard return rules apply.
Inspecting Goods: Goods must be inspected upon delivery. If your package arrives damaged or leaking, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographs of the outer packaging and damaged bottle(s).
Returns: Unopened bottles in their original packaging and condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery at the customer’s expense, subject to prior written approval from Lagom Spirits.

8. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

All content published on www.lagomspirits.com—including text, graphics, logos, bottling artwork, label designs, tasting notes, and website design—is the intellectual property of Cask Med Ltd (or its licensors) and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, store, or distribute any material from our Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lagom Spirits / Cask Med Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our Site, delivery delays beyond reasonable control, or reliance on information published on the Site.
Our maximum liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total purchase price paid for the products ordered.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on www.lagomspirits.com with a revised timestamp, and your continued use of the Site signifies acceptance of the modified Terms.
